Weight Training Orientation (Youth)

When?

Youth Weight Training Orientation will be held every Monday from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm and participation is required for all youth members who want to utilize the weight training equipment.

Why?

To teach the most important part about lifting, PROPER FORM! when using machine weights.
One of the most important reasons to maintain proper form during weight lifting exercises is to prevent injury. When we lift a lot of heavy weight, this can cause the body to become misaligned that can place your tendons, muscles and joints in positions that can potentially cause strains or tears.

For these reasons we want to ensure our youth members are taught how to use our equipment and most of all using proper form at all times.

How?

Youth members that sign up for orientation will receive instruction from a certified personal trainer.

Run Your Race Summer Camp

Summer Camp 2019 is coming, and we are excited! Each of us is uniquely created with interests and strengths to run a very special race. We’re planning a Camp filled with fun experiences that will help you “Run Your Race.”

At camp you can expect to participate in breakfast lunch and dinner.  There will be games and activities throughout the day that you will play as teams.  There will be free swim time each night with snack bars open to purchase food.  There will be services where we come together for worship and an inspirational word.

Games will be played between 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm

Weight Training Orientation (Youth)

When?

Youth Weight Training Orientation will be held every Monday from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm and participation is required for all youth members who want to utilize the weight training equipment.

Why?

To teach the most important part about lifting, PROPER FORM! when using machine weights.
One of the most important reasons to maintain proper form during weight lifting exercises is to prevent injury. When we lift a lot of heavy weight, this can cause the body to become misaligned that can place your tendons, muscles and joints in positions that can potentially cause strains or tears.

For these reasons we want to ensure our youth members are taught how to use our equipment and most of all using proper form at all times.

How?

Youth members that sign up for orientation will receive instruction from a certified personal trainer.


*Required by all youth memberships.
*Youth must have attended a youth orientation and have an active membership.
