The City Center offers students an excellent way to gain real-world experience with a start-up non-profit determined to change the way fitness and teen centers coexist to impact lives.

Our internship program aims to cultivate students from may fields and disciplines. We offer interns a substantive learning experience that affords them the opportunity to contribute to our work, and the knowledge, skills and tools they may need to continue in the nonprofit field. This summer, the City Center is offering the following internships. Interns will contribute to the momentum the City Center is experiencing, and will have the opportunity to pilot programs that will impact a community and transform lives. The following positions are accepting applicants.


CONTENT MARKETING INTERN

SEMESTER: SUMMER (MAY - AUGUST)

AVAILABLE POSITIONS: 1

CLASSIFICATION: UNPAID

The Content Marketing Intern will be responsible for supporting the communications, marketing, digital and promotional activities at the City Center. Strong writing and grammar skills are essential. Media and social media experience valued. Ability to think outside the box and jump at the opportunity of crazy ideas required.


SPECIAL EVENTS INTERN

SEMESTER: SUMMER (MAY - AUGUST)

AVAILABLE POSITIONS: 1

CLASSIFICATION: UNPAID

The Special Events Intern will be responsible for assisting in the execution of all City Center events. Strong project management and creative skills are essential. Social media experience valued. Ability to raise the standard through event planning and corporate event sponsorship required.


POWER PARTNER INTERN

SEMESTER: SUMMER (MAY - AUGUST)

AVAILABLE POSITIONS: 1

CLASSIFICATION: UNPAID

The Power Partner Intern will be responsible for supporting the recruitment, training, and stewardship for all community members donating their time to City Center programs. Strong customer service and organization skills are essential. Must be comfortable and confident communicating over the phone. Ability to speak in front of large crowds required.
